The purpose and goal of Next Level Ballers is to provide fundamental basketball skills training and competitive basketball play in a positive, productive and rewarding environment. We believe that all athletes can be winners on and off the court. We appreciate each player's individual style and skill level and will take that level to the "Next Level".

What is Next Level Ballers?

Next Level Ballers is an organization that will take your game to the Next Level, but will also stress the importance of good character, good sportsmanship and a good education. We work with boys and girls beginning in Kindergarten through 12th grade.

We offer camps throughout the year, individual training and competitive tournaments. Camp registration will be limited at each event so that each camper will receive proper instruction. At most camps, instruction will be given by the Director and his staff and will include top collegiate and high school athletes to assist. Some camps will offer special guest speakers ranging from college coaches to college players. To register for the next camp, please click here.

Individual training is available upon request and scheduling. This is a great way to work on a skill or skills that need enhanced instruction. Please click here for more information on one-on-one lessons.

Next Level Ballers also offers competitive tournaments throughout the year for your team(s). These tournaments typically draw teams from around the country and, when available, will be NCAA sanctioned in which numerous college coaches and scouts will be in attendance.

Wes Grandstaff is the Founder and Director of Next Level Ballers. He began this organization for several reasons - primarily because of his love for the game and his love for kids. He is the AAU Boys Basketball Chairman for the Southwestern Association in the north Texas area and has been since 1992.

Wes is also the Director of Team Texas Basketball. This is an elite/select boys basketball group sponsored by Nike with teams ranging from 2nd grade through 11th grade. He developed this program in 1994 after having coached such greats as Kenyon Martin of the New Jersey Nets and Desmond Mason with the Milwaukee Bucks. Wes decided that coaching at this level was his calling and thus began working on the Team Texas program. Since then, he has had over 60 Division 1 college players such as Bracey Wright of Indiana, Keith Langford of Kansas, Brian Boddicker of Texas, Brian Hopkins of SMU … and the list goes on.

In 2001, Team Texas was named the top AAU program in the country, having won the biggest tournaments of that summer.

Wes knows the game and knows the fundamentals of developing the game.
